Focus on institutional cooperation/ Head of SPAK meets with Minister Gogu

Minister of Justice, Toni Gogu, held a meeting with the head of SPAK, Klodian Braho.

The meeting was announced by Minister Gogu, who said that the focus was on inter-institutional cooperation in several directions.

Through an announcement on social media, Gogu writes that the cooperation between SPAK and the Ministry of Justice will focus on improving the legal framework, strengthening capacities, and the efficiency of the coordination system.

Yesterday I held an institutional meeting with the head of SPAK, Mr. Klodjan Braho, within the framework of the responsibilities of the Ministry of Justice for the functioning of the justice system. Inter-institutional cooperation will be developed in the following directions:

improving the legal framework, addressing existing gaps regarding the status of prosecutors, procedural powers and international cooperation

strengthening institutional capacities and infrastructural support

increasing the efficiency of the system and coordination at the public policy level

Consolidating standards and practices that guarantee legal certainty and public trust.

SPAK remains a key institution in the fight against organized crime and corruption, as well as in consolidating the rule of law and advancing the country's European integration process.

Our cooperation is based on full respect for the separation of powers and the independence of institutions.
