The head of the National Chamber of Advocacy, Maks Haxhia, has warned that lawyers will follow legal paths if the government approves the new judicial map

Regarding the approval of the map, Haxhia expressed his conviction that it will be done, since the decision has already been taken, but said that the case has not been sent to the court so far, as they hoped that there will be a change.

"The community of lawyers made a decision. We do not make mistakes in decision-making, but we are based on the law on the profession of lawyers. We know it will pass because it is sealed. We will follow the legal path, we will turn to the court according to the competence to overturn this decision of the government that gives it final form. I want to assure you, without wanting to start a controversy with the minister, we are not one of those who do things based on the emotions of the moment. We debated with a lot of culture. There is a decision of the Constitutional Court that cannot affect the lawyer, whatever the law wants you to do with it. We are people with integrity and civic culture. In the end, we will go to court. We have not turned to him because we hope, God willing, that he will make a mental revolution, to find that way for the good of the public", said Haxhia in the hearing that is being held for the New Judicial Map./CNA.al
