The trial for the ARRSH/SPAK grants the claim for the 2 former directors, Evis Berberi and Gentian Gjyli

The Special Prosecution has requested 10 years in prison for the former head of the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), Evis Berberi.

The barber is accused of abuse of office, passive corruption and violation of equality in tenders. His sentence may be reduced to 1/3 due to the summary trial, and he may also be disqualified from holding public office for 5 years.

While Gentian Gjyli is accused of the criminal offense of "Violation of equality of participants in tenders or public auctions", committed in collaboration.

For Gjyli, SPAK is requesting 1.6 years in prison for violating equality in tenders in 2 episodes and the removal of the right to exercise public functions for a period of 5 years. /CNA
