Situation at Lushnja Hospital/ Ministry responds: Building under reconstruction, services have not been interrupted

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reacted a few minutes ago regarding several statements made this Thursday in Parliament regarding the situation at Lushnja Hospital.

Through an announcement, the Ministry informs that the building is currently undergoing reconstruction and for this reason, some temporary reorganizations of services have been made.

According to the Ministry, hospital services have not been interrupted and activity continues normally.

"Regarding the political statements made today in Parliament, we clarify that they do not reflect the real situation at Lushnja Hospital.

The hospital is currently in the process of reconstruction, so temporary reorganizations of services have been made, without interrupting any services for citizens.

There is no shortage of basic materials like cotton or alcohol. The supply is regular.

No services have been interrupted.

The gynecological service has been temporarily reorganized within the hospital.

Mammography is functional.

"The hospital continues its activities normally, guaranteeing service and safety for patients," the announcement says. /CNA
