Appeal to the Supreme Court/ Former director of AKSHI requests removal of security measure

The former director of the National Agency for the Information Society (AKSHI), Mirlinda Karçanaj, has addressed the Supreme Court with a request regarding the security measure.

It is learned that Karçanaj is requesting the lifting of the security measure against her.

The draw has appointed Judge Genti Shala as the judge to review the request.

Karçanaj is accused of abusing tenders for the agency he ran and is under house arrest by decision of the Criminal Court.

According to SPAK, the former director of the National Agency for Public Procurement, Mirlinda Karçanaj, has committed the criminal offense of "violation of equality of participants in tenders and public auctions" within the framework of a structured criminal group./CNA
