A 10-year-old boy was trapped in one of the pools of a private business in Shkodër.

His hand got stuck in the bottom pipe of the pool, but fortunately the fire brigade emptied the pool in time and got the child out without damaging his arm.

The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, in a post on social networks, thanked the fire brigade team of the Shkodra municipality and that of Vaut Deja for the work done.

"I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the team of firefighters of our municipality and that of Vau i Deja!

Today was not an easy day for the firefighters. After efforts to extinguish fires in two areas, the afternoon found them in another difficult situation. A 10-year-old boy was trapped in one of the pools of a private business. His hand was stuck in the bottom pipe of the pool, where the fire brigade intervened to empty the pool in time, as well as to get the child out without damaging his arm. Thanks to their work and sacrifice, today they managed to win in the name of life! Thank you very much, everyone," says Beci./CNA.al
