The Beleri issue has fueled debates between Baton Haxhi and Çim Peka.

Baton Haxhiu said that Fredi Beleri's arrest and candidacy has created an ethnic problem and even called his arrest a mistake.

But such a thing has been contradicted by Peka who compared Haxhiu's position on the rights of the Serbian minorities in the north of Kosovo and the rights of the Greek minority in Himara.

Haxhiu told Peka that he is speaking out of logic.

Baton Haxhiu: Fredi Beleri's arrest and candidacy has created an ethnic problem. It was the mistake of arresting him that brought about the inevitable crisis. Greece is the only country that does not accept ethnicities, it is a country that does not give the right to speak to anyone else. From a group of lawyers from another country coming here to talk about human rights, there should be at least one moral code that they don't respect.

Çim Peka: You have expressed in this studio your concern for the rights of Serbian minorities in the North. Which are in no way less than the rights of Greeks in Albania. Then why are you so worried about the Serbian minorities and you have no concern about the Greeks in Albania?

Baton Haxhiu: Are you talking out of logic, or should I say something.

Çim Peka: I don't expect this comment from you, I do from others.

Baton Haxhiu: Unlike you, I have a coherence of thought. I say that the Sebs should be given their right, as well as the Greeks, as any minority.

Çim Peka: In this studio, you stated that the rights of the Serbian minority are violated in the North, but no mayor has been arrested. The head of the Greek minority in Albania is arrested, he gives us analysis and history here. Tell me is it wrong or not wrong?
