Socialist MP, Erion Braçe has announced his candidacy for the Municipality of Tirana. Braçe is the first of the socialists to come out and oppose the candidacy of Ogerta Manastirliu for the Municipality of Tirana and declared himself a candidate. Perhaps, Braçe is right, as the Socialist Party may have another candidate.

Perhaps the socialists are also hoping that Erion Veliaj will be released from prison. But one thing is for sure, Erion Veliaj cannot run for the Municipality of Tirana again, because he has served three terms as mayor and there is a clear legal obstacle.

As for Erion Braçe, in the interview given on April 2 on Top Channel, he said that he does not oppose Ogerta Manastirliu's candidacy and on the other hand, he comes out and says that he is the contender for the Municipality of Tirana.

" I am a socialist. If another candidate emerges from this process, it must be someone who represents the Socialist Party, as is the case with Manastirliu ," Braçe said in the April 2 interview.

What kind of manager Erion Braçe is and what kind of work he does was seen when he was the deputy prime minister and Rama fired him "with kicks". Leaving the Municipality of Tirana in the hands of Erion Braçe is like hanging the "livers around the neck" of a wolf, the "livers" that were saved by the jackal that fled from office.

Erion Braçe's statements are contradictory. Once he comes out and declares himself a candidate, saying that he is the right one, then he states that if he is not the candidate, the right name is Ogerta Manastirliu. The question that arises after this is why is Erion Braçe stirring up trouble in the Socialist Party?

What does Braçe want to gain from this "stirrup" he is making within the SP? Does he want to get another mandate in the next parliamentary elections? Or does he want to become a factor within the Socialist Party? Erion Braçe's candidacy for the Municipality of Tirana would do the opposition an unprecedented honor, as they would have an easier time winning against him.

Erion Braçe's April 2 interview was unclear, chaotic and full of attacks on the current mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who was arrested for 5 serious criminal offenses. Braçe said that the capital currently has a very big problem, as it is neither self-governing nor governed, and he is seeking a new standard in the city.

" Tirana has a very big problem: it is neither self-governing nor governed ," said Braçe.

 

 

Perhaps Erion Braçe lacks the factorization within the SP or in politics and has returned "to the game" by representing what is called the mosquito phenomenon in politics.
