Dumani takes stock of SPAK/ "1036 people under investigation for corruption, 61 very high officials"

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, took stock of the work of the Special Prosecutor's Office in the activity organized for the 5th anniversary of this institution.

Dumani said that 1036 people have been investigated by SPAK for corruption, 61 of whom are very high-level officials.

He stated that 70 percent of the officials under investigation have been sent for trial.

"Regarding corruption, there are 1,036 people under investigation, 61 very high-level officials, and 70 percent of them have been sent for trial. We have 28.4 percent of the total number of arrested persons.

42 joint investigative teams have been set up in connection with international cooperation.

We seized 182 million euros of illegally obtained assets.

We have investigated officials of all levels, a message that justice does not know sides and there are no inviolable persons", stressed Dumani./ CNA
