“This week Albania was once again at the top of the news in Europe and the world. The powerful peaceful youth civic uprising, which lasted 41 days with the largest participation since the 1990s in the country's history, has gained great international support and sympathy.

"In this context, I can say that this uprising is finding broad support across the entire European political spectrum, but also among the citizens of the free countries of Europe ," said Berisha.

The chief democrat further said that the DP will soon submit to the prosecutor's office an indictment on all the criminal offenses that, according to him, have been documented in the book "The Albanian Files".

"On the other hand, Edi Rama is increasingly branded as a narco-dictator for whom the laws and the Constitution of the country are a dead letter. Edi Rama's Red Book is 750 pages of indictments for 523 criminal acts. It is the de facto treatment of Albania by Edi Rama as a family fiefdom and the handover of this fiefdom into the hands of the Albanian and global mafia.

Never, ever, would a government official dare not even imagine acting in this way except for this bastard, who, with the mentality of the Hoxhaist blockmen to whom he belongs, believes and thinks that in Albania he is above the Constitution, above the laws, above urban planning, above property, above the environment and has his billions as his main goal. "In an unexpected, unconstitutional, absolutely unconstitutional manner, Edi Rama takes from the government's reserve fund, the creation of which is based on clear articles of the Constitution of Albania, and this fund that was entrusted to him to use for emergencies, urgencies and very special cases, Edi Rama shares this fund with Kanye West, a well-known singer, solely for his lobbying.

This is an unconstitutional crime. Under no circumstances and in no case could a private concert be given the country's emergency funds or the Council of Ministers' reserve funds. Only someone who does not ask about the Constitution does this. Only someone who has no interest in the rule of law or national interest. There are only personal interests.

"With a handful of incriminated ministers, who should never have agreed to become co-authors in this crime, but dear citizens, I remind you that this, in a totally unconstitutional, illegal act, in an ugly crime, paid 7 million euros in May 2025 to the private organization Giro D'Italia, to hold the race in Albania in order to help Edi Rama in the elections," Berisha said. /CNA
