A large number of restaurants, hotels and businesses across the country have been affected by a dangerous form of cyber "terrorism".

Two days ago, the Director of the State Police, Skënder Hita, announced at a press conference that a suspicious and coordinated activity has been identified in cyberspace where over 10 thousand accounts have massively published negative comments and reviews to damage the reputation of Albanian businesses.

While investigations continue to uncover the people responsible for this activity that aims to damage Albania's economic interests and image as a safe and welcoming country, government media have been publishing the names of the people behind the negative "reviews" made in businesses for two days.

These people have shared on their social platforms, such as "Tik-Tok", several times the list of businesses "targeted" by these assessments.
