Kanye West's concert today/ Here are the axes where traffic is blocked

Kanye West's concert will be held in Kashar today. In this regard, Tirana police have announced the plan of measures and the axes where there will be blockages and restrictions on vehicle traffic. 

The restriction of vehicle traffic on these axes will start from 07:00 until 24:00. Emergency vehicles will be allowed to circulate on these axes during the restriction.

Police announcement:

In the framework of the "YE" musical activity that will take place on 11.07.2026, in Kashar, the Tirana Local Police Directorate informs citizens that there will be temporary restrictions on the circulation of vehicles, as follows:

-From 07:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the secondary axis of the "Durrës-Tirana" highway, from "Eiffel" to "Casa Italia". We clarify that this segment will only function in the exit direction, for subjects;

-From 07:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the exit lane of the "Durrës-Tirana" highway, at the "Casa Italia" roundabout;

-From 12:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited in the segment ""Casa Italia" - "Pavarësia" Street - "Sokrat Miho" Street";

-From 12:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the segment ""Sokrat Miho" Street - "Kasem Shima" Street - "7 Nëntori" Street", which will operate only in the outbound direction.

Also, from the Institute bridge to "Casa Italia" there may be partial traffic blockages, depending on the flow of participants, in order to manage traffic and guarantee the normal development of the activity.

During the above intervals, only Emergency vehicles and State Police vehicles will have access to the restricted areas.

Tirana Police asks for citizens' understanding and invites drivers to plan their movement, using alternative routes and following the instructions of the Police services. / CNA
