Ernejt Shyti, the killer of the businessman Behar Sofia, during his testimony in the court session at GJKKO, showed that he was ordered to commit the serious crime. 

The associate of justice emphasized that he followed the victim for 28 days and at the time of the assassination, his weapon was first blocked. He said that he then shot twice at the businessman, leaving him dead on the spot. 

Shyti said that he was promised the sum of 50 million lek for this assassination attempt, but that he never received it.

66-year-old Behar Sofia, known as the "drug lord", was executed on the morning of February 25, 2021, near the Pyramid in Tirana, while the killer left on a bicycle.
