Burning of the Koran in Sweden/ Former Mufti of Tirana: Every limit was
Former Mufti of Tirana, Ylli Gurra

The former Mufti of Tirana, Ylli Gurra, in a television interview, spoke about the burning of the Koran a few days ago.

He said that burning the Koran is an unacceptable and punishable act not only from a religious point of view, but also from a civic point of view.

"Regardless of the views, preferences, motivations of the person or persons in the places they occur in relation to the divine books such as the Koran or the Bible, or if we go further to the Torah, the book of the Jews, they are the sanctity of a large group of the community of believers. It is a sensitivity that transcends the national borders of a country. It is beyond logic, whether religious or civic," he said.

Furthermore, the former Mufti added that the Divine Books have this sanctity and find this applicability starting from the billions of citizens of the world who have decided to choose either Islam, Christianity, Judaism or Judaism.

"We must be direct and honest in what we say. Some of these come from the mistakes of the members of the faith themselves. But in the case of the person in Sweden, this exceeds all limits, and even more so on Eid al-Adha, an action that hits the hardest. The Swedish authorities have some limits or other goals of freedoms and human rights. Allowing and protecting the Iraqi citizen, for whom I do not know if he has won political asylum, is wrong", stated Ylli Gurra.

As for the person who burned the Koran, he stated that he belongs to the category of people who are stereotypes produced by time that find very little justice from their national realities.

"They feel oppressed not only in relation to religion, but also in freedom of speech, thought, economic freedom, freedom of movement. They come from countries that have probably experienced a kind of dictatorship for several decades and they find the first opportunity to express all the freedom and rights that can arise", the former Mufti emphasized./ CNA.al
