The head of the FRPD, Besart Xhaferri, has reacted in relation to the latest developments, the issuance of SPAK arrest warrants for the Tirana incinerator and the investigative file.

Xhaferri stated that the file proved that the entire state was placed at the service of Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtir to finalize the concession.

The head of the FRPD writes that SPAK, apart from Zoto and Mërtir, should go to the real beneficiaries of this mega-affair, which Arben Ahmetaj made clear in his testimony at SPAK and they are neither Koka nor Bllako neither Tusha nor Simixhiu.

"Although SPAK's investigations into the incinerator affair are fragmented and selective in relation to the officials under investigation, where Rama, Veliaj, Agaçi and Metani are untouchable, the file of the Tirana incinerator proved once again how the entire state was placed in service of Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtir to finalize this concession that will cost Albanians 1 billion euros.

Together with other exponents of the opposition and also the KLSH, we have denounced that the fee for waste disposal in Sawrë 29 Euro/ton is fictitiously inflated, but from the reading I made of the file it appears that this is only the tip of the iceberg of this corrupt affair.

The administration employees initially gave an 8% bonus to "Integrated Energy BV SPV", a bonus that was approved by the government at the request of Edi Rama with the only condition that the company participates in the competition.

The members of the Bid Evaluation Commission with the employees of Zotos and Mertiriti's firm have operated as a single body to announce the predetermined winner, since the private company was aware of all the criteria before starting any state procedure.

Minister Felaj informed Prime Minister Rama that the company that would build this concession and build the burner was not registered in the CKB, but this did not prevent Rama from giving his blessing to this concession.

The winning company, on the other hand, has not spared inflating the items of fraudulent financial services and schemes, causing considerable damage to the budget.
