"My son should be declared missing"/ Ervis Martinaj's father,

The father of the long-sought Ervis Martinaj, Mustafa Martinaj, has submitted a request to the Lezha Court regarding his son's disappearance. He has requested that his son be officially declared a missing person.

"Citizen Mustafa Martinaj requests from the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezhë to declare citizen Ervis Martinaj, born on 6.10.1982, resident of Fushë-Kuqe, Patok, Kurbin, missing," the request states.

Martinaj was reported missing by his family in August 2022, and there is still no information about him. It is suspected that the last person to see him was Jeton Lami, a former agent of the Special Operations Force, who was sentenced to prison for abuse of office. Jeton Lami is accused of transporting Ervis Martinaj in a car from Durrës to Tirana in early August, shortly before he disappeared. /CNA
