"The most important global event"/ AFSA: The World Insurance

The Head of the Financial Supervisory Authority, Mimoza Kaçi, reported today to the Committee on Economy, Employment and Finance on the annual activity of the institution.

Kaçi said that this year Albania will welcome the World Insurance Conference for the first time, which will be organized by the AFSA.

Kaçi further stated that the work of the institution she leads will continue to be based on several main directions, including European integration, strengthening supervision, and increasing capacities.

" We are working on organizing the annual conference of supervisors. The World Insurance Conference is being held for the first time in Albania, but also in the region, the most important global event. It is expected that this event will gather over 500 participants from 150 countries. This year's organization has been entrusted to AFSA. AFSA, based on its objectives and policies, will continue its work by focusing on several main directions:

-European integration

-Continuing to contribute to financial stability

-Strengthening supervision

-Strengthening and increasing institutional capacities

"Consumer protection and market development ," said Kaçi.
