SPAK sends 1 lawyer, 1 border police officer and 4 other defendants for

SPAK has sent 6 defendants for trial for corruption and illegal influence.

Announcement:

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime completed the investigations and sent on 21.10.2025 to the Special Court of First Instance, the request for the trial of criminal proceedings no. 36/3 of 2025, against six defendants accused of the criminal offenses; "Exercise of illegal influence over persons exercising public functions", "Active corruption of a witness, expert or translator" and "Abuse of office", provided for by articles 245/1, 312, 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

Defendants:

Armand Tragaj, a lawyer by profession, accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Exercising illegal influence over persons exercising public functions", (committed in 4 episodes), provided for by articles 245/1, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code and "Active corruption of a witness, expert or translator", provided for by article 312 of the Criminal Code.

Edison Cukaj (Gjoka), accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Exercising unlawful influence over persons exercising public functions", committed in collaboration as provided for in Article 245/1, paragraph 4 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

Serxhio Shkodra, accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Exercising unlawful influence over persons exercising public functions", committed in collaboration as provided for in article 245/1, paragraph 4 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

Ervis Deti, accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Exercising unlawful influence over persons exercising public functions", committed in collaboration as provided for in article 245/1, paragraph 4 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

Bexhed Mema, accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Exercising unlawful influence over persons exercising public functions", committed in collaboration as provided for in Article 245/1, paragraph 4 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

Naim Behluli, on duty, a border police officer at the Durres Port border crossing point, accused of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office", provided for by Article 248 of the Criminal Code.
