World Press Freedom Day: Don't feel threatened

The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj

The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, in the context of the World Press Freedom Day, has given his message to journalists and the media.

Begaj declares that no media or its employees should feel blackmailed or threatened due to the performance of this mission.

" On World Press Freedom Day with a group of young journalists in Albania.

The media in a democratic society shapes public opinion, has an irreplaceable role in accurately informing society, in its mission to express the truth in an impartial and transparent manner.

No media or its employees should feel blackmailed or threatened due to the performance of this mission.

The fruitful conversation on the media reality, freedom of the press, censorship and self-censorship, the missing trade union organizations of media workers give hope that with free and professional journalists we will have a better quality media", said Begaj./ CNA.al
