Prime Minister Edi Rama started this morning with the images of the winning project for the construction of the "Skënderbeu" stadium in Korçë.

The Danish studio "CEBRA Architecture" was announced as the winner of the international competition for the "Skënderbeu" stadium project in Korça.

Competing to win this project were the Italian "ARCHEA Associati" studio, the Spanish "BOFILL Architecture" and the Danish "CEBRA Architecture".

The day before, the representative of the Danish company, which won the competition, explained that the stadium will be adapted to the buildings of Korça. According to their project, it is thought that the park should be extended on the other side of the boulevard, in order to connect all the functions and roads, and the remaining part is proposed to have small buildings. This will give diversity to Korca.

" We discussed the master plan a lot and we understood that we will do both of these.

If we want to have an integrated stadium, we have to see what is the situation around the stadium and these are our two proposals, and the second thing is about the functions we can add to the project to support the living elements in these area.

The building we are going to make must fit the buildings of Korca. It is the stadium, which is surrounded by buildings like Korça has, but bringing them in a contemporary style. It is not only about football, but also various activities that will take place here. We determine the place and then look at the type of buildings that are suitable for Korça. We thought of extending the park to the other side of the boulevard.
