"Mercedez Benz" falls from the "throne", Albanians prefer

The Institute of Statistics with the latest published data shows that "Volkswagen" has become the most favorite car of Albanians. This brand is being bought more and more, leaving "Mercedez Benzin" behind.

Only in the first 3 months of 2023, 14,460 new vehicles belonging to 276 brands were registered in Albania.

The "Volkswagen" brand is the brand with the highest circulation in the country in the category of new road vehicles with 20.4%, followed by the "Mercedez Benz" brand with 16.3%.

The capital holds first place for the number of new vehicles registered in the first 3 months of the year, followed by Durrës, Fieri, Elbasan and Shkodra.

But fewer new vehicles were registered in Dibër, Gjirokastra and Kukës.

In the category of new road vehicles by type, the largest percentage of the total number is occupied by "Cars" (83.5%) and "Motors" (6.8%)./Euronews Albania
