A court hearing was held at noon today, where initially the mayor's media reported that he had requested and requested freedom. In fact, it was a request from SPAK to address the preliminary judge, Erion Bani, regarding the security measure given by the latter, which was later confirmed in the Appeal, for indefinite imprisonment .

Persons who are under the security measure "Indefinite imprisonment", in certain periods must be familiarized with facts and evidence, i.e. the reason why they were held for these times and what the prosecutors have done . What investigations have been conducted and why they should continue to be held in indefinite imprisonment, this has been decided by the Appeals Court of Kosovo in a decision, which has been appealed to the Supreme Court by Veliaj's lawyers.

Today what was expected happened, hundreds and hundreds of pages of documents were filed before the court . Endless investigative actions carried out in two months by SPAK prosecutors, Altin Dumani and Ols Dado. Everything has been quite clear. The prosecutors have continued to deepen the investigative case against Erion Veliaj, not leaving it simply and only at the points they had previously requested in court , but have deepened the investigations with new facts and evidence.

This is confirmed and explained very well by the request of the lawyers, who have asked for time to familiarize themselves with the new facts or evidence presented by prosecutors Altin Dumani and Ols Dado.

It is now clear that in the GJKKO, as reported by the media a few weeks ago, before the Appeals Court, that other compromising facts have been found for the mayor of Tirana , the investigations have been deepened, there is new evidence.

Everything is now expected to be officially confirmed, even after the position that Mayor Veliaj's lawyers themselves will hold , who have not asked to quickly read the evidence in the session, but since they have been voluminous and important, they have requested that the new facts and evidence be reviewed and have requested a deadline, and then Judge Erion Bani has set the date for April 23./ CNA
