The general director of AMP is suspended from duty

At the request of the Berat Prosecutor's Office, the security measure 'Suspension of the exercise of a public duty or service' has been imposed on citizen FS, serving as General Director of the Police Supervision Agency.

The suspension from duty came due to a parallel move by a staff member who subsequently complained to the prosecutor's office.

These appear to be tendentious actions taken against the head of the AMP, due to the fierce fight that has been waged against corruption and lawlessness by the blue uniforms in recent months.  

According to the prosecution, there is reasonable suspicion based on evidence that he transferred judicial police officers in complete violation of article 10, point 1, letter c, and article 22 of law no. 25/2019 "On the organization and functioning of the Judicial Police" and article 62, point 5, of law no. 128/2021 "On the Police Supervision Agency"./ CNA
