Snow in Dardha/ Appeal to vehicle drivers

In the district of Korça during the night, precipitation has been of low to medium intensity in the form of rain and snow in the mountainous areas +1300 m.

There was snowfall on Dardha road from km 9-14. The thickness of the snow goes up to 8cm.

The snow removal vehicles during the night but also during this morning have descended on the ground for cleaning and salting, making the circulation continue normally.

Every segment affected by the rains is being continuously monitored by the Central East Road Authority and the Traffic Police.

Drivers should take extra care and be equipped with winter tires when traveling to areas with snow. Currently the weather is cloudy, the rains have stopped while the thermometer is 3 degrees./ CNA
