Apartments and properties/ SPAK seizes the assets of Vito Biba, convicted of

Pursuant to Normative Act No. 1, dated 31.01.2020, at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision No. 6 dated 27.01.2023 decided to confiscate the assets of subjects Vito (Vehap) Biba (who, by decision No. SIEP442/2011 dated 27.09.2013, of the Court of Bescia, Italy, was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", committed in non-cooperation, provided by the Code Italian Penal) and Englangina Biba (who, by decision no. 45 dated 27.07.2011, of the Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes in Tirana, has pleaded guilty to the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", carried out in cooperation) as and related persons.

The Special Court of Appeals for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision no. 102 dated 06.07.2023 left in effect decision no. 6 dated 27.01.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.

With these decisions, the Courts have ordered the confiscation of assets as follows:

1. "Plot" property with an area of ??352.6 m2 with a building area of ??138.2 m2, Tirana, owned by Vito Biba;

2. "Unit" property with an area of ??292.8 m2, address Tirana, owned by Eglantina Biba;

3. "Unit" property with an area of ??274.8 m2, address Tirana, owned by Eglantina Biba;

4. "Apartment" property with an area of ??263.8 m2, address Tirana, staircase area 19.8 m2, veranda area 36.3 m2, owned by Eglantina Biba;

5. Property of the type "Apartment" with an area of ??263.8 m2, .... veranda area 5.5 m2, owned by Eglantina Biba;

6. Property of the type "Apartment" with an area of ??263.8 m2, address Tirana, veranda area 5.5 m2, owned by Eglantina Biba;

7. Property of the type "Apartment" with an area of ??263.8 m2, address Tirana, veranda area 5.5 m2, owned by Eglantina Biba;

8. Property of the type "Building" with an area of ??91.6 m2, with an address in Tirana; residential building 2 floors + 1 underground floor: underground floor area 40.2 m2, ground floor area 91.6 m2, veranda area 17.9 m2, first floor area 91.6 m2, veranda area 22.7 m2, owned by Davide Vito Biba;

9. "Plot" property with an area of ??262.5 m2 with a building area of ??87.5 m2, residential building 3 floors + 1 basement floor, basement floor area 42.7 m2, ground floor area 87.5 m2 (verandah 33.6 m2), first floor area 121.1 m2 and second floor area 121.1 m2, owned by Fatima Biba;
