Ibsen Elezi: Berisha and Basha are heading towards dismemberment

The former candidate for the head of the Democratic Party, Ibsen Elezi, has stated that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and Lulzim Basha show with their actions that they are heading towards a path of fragmentation.

"I was very limited to state that these are intentional because one must have strong arguments to accuse someone of doing it intentionally, but many of their actions, especially during the last 2 years, show that they they are heading towards a path of fragmentation", said Elezi.

Among other things, in an interview for Euronews, Elezi says, among other things, that if there was will from both sides, a joint process would be carried out.

"Under these conditions, everyone would verify what their weight was within the Democratic Party and everyone would be in their own position within that party, because I can't just say I don't like Lulzim Basha. Lulzim Basha, if there are members of the Democratic Party who love him, he can have his own faction within the Democratic Party because you cannot exclude people within a party," said Elezi./ CNA
