The information obtained from two platforms which were thought not to be intercepted were one of the main points through which SPAK managed to arrest a prosecutor and the former head of the Operational Forces in the State Police.

In the "Metamorfoza" mega-operation file, it appears that through these platforms they gave orders for murder or committed crimes with "clearing".

Order to kill - Members of the criminal group have received and given orders to kill, and reported their execution in real time through the "Sky" and "EncroChat" platforms. One case is businessman Gjoka's order to Bejhar Bajri for a murder where the businessman claimed that he could give 110 thousand euros in exchange.

Crime with "clearing" - From the data in the file it appears that the crime was committed with "clearing" between the group of Bajraj and Ervis Martinaj. One party has agreed to commit a murder at the expense of the other and vice versa.

It was also discovered that in one of the murders, the perpetrators also went to the victim's funeral.

The police gave details of the operation carried out on the order of SPAK, where after interceptions the criminal group was destroyed and some former officials, businessmen and people with criminal record were arrested.

The police informed that some of the arrested are the former head of the Operational Forces, Oltion Bistri, the head of the Kukes Prosecutor's Office, Xhevahir Lita, and the former policeman Ardit Hasanbegaj and the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka.

Specifically, the number of those arrested is 5, while 9 others are wanted.

According to SPAK, this investigation revealed at least six criminal events that occurred in the country in the period 2019-2022.

The members of the criminal group had different roles and are suspected to have been involved in the murder of Gjin Boriçi Ndoji in August 2020 in Shkodër, the attempted murder of Taulant Pepa in the same city in February 2021, the creation of the conditions for the murder of Kleant Musabelli in Tirana in in 2020, as well as against Ibrahim Liçi, Dorian Doli and Genc Tafili in 2020.

From the coded operation "Metamorfoza" control was exercised in 26 apartments and premises where monetary sums, various vehicles, telephones, various firearms, masks, electronic equipment, electronic monitoring equipment (servers and cameras) with which external environments were monitored in different areas of the city of Shkodra. /CNA.al
