The MP, Kreshnik Çollaku reacted after the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Vula made an official response stating that the decision to cancel the elections is a binding decision for every member of the Democratic Party and its functionaries.

Çollaku called to stop any misuse of statements on behalf of the Parliamentary Group.

He said that  "It is a well-known fact that within the group we share different opinions and positions on certain issues related to the DP elections."

"I appeal to my colleagues to make such statements in their personal name and not in the name of the entire Parliamentary Group", he said in a post on social networks.

It is quite normal that fellow MPs individually or nominally in a group can express their views.

It is incorrect and unethical to issue statements on behalf of the Group that do not represent the entire group and that, moreover, have not even been discussed with the entire group.
