Tirana's incinerator towards sequestration, abuse or scheme?

The information that SPAK is seizing Tirana's incinerator is spreading in the networks of journalists and in political circles.

It is a fact that in the 322-page charges brought against Arben Ahmetaj, the incinerator of Tirana was also mentioned, and the investigations were carried out after several reports made in a row by the Thurje Initiative, the Democratic Party or the Socialist Movement for Integration.

Many complaints have been made. The company claims that it is not building the incinerator because it has a deadline until 2026, politics and the media react by emphasizing that this fee should not be paid until the construction of the incinerator, the fee of 29 euros and so on.

But, the news has already started to circulate that the incinerator will be seized after the investigations, as there are accusations against the owners who have created the concession that starts with Klodian Zoto and goes with its shadow management by Mirel Mërtiri (Klodian Mërtiri).

The news that the incinerator will be seized has two sides of the coin.

First, the seizure would be a step that would show that SPAK has done its job, there will be accused, violations of the law have been found, criminal offenses that will be brought to court and so on.

And secondly, it can be a scheme. A scheme that politics itself is using to notify the shadowy people behind the incinerators or the real owners to empty their accounts.

So, when the incinerator is seized, its accounts, the administrator is appointed, the bank accounts of the company will be zero, that is, millions of euros will have gone out of the country.

There is talk of a turnover of money per year according to official data published by the company itself, about 25 million dollars.

In total in 6 years income 180 million dollars and with a declared profit of about 25 million dollars and on the other hand with a claimed investment of the company, about 30 million dollars but that the latter is a slightly inflated figure.

According to the data, it seems that the incinerator, according to the news that is circulating, can be seized, but one direction is that of SPAK's quick steps and proactive actions, while on the other hand, the slowness may be a scheme to allow the company to move money out the country and the Albanians will remain with their fingers in their mouths and ready to wait for how the justice will proceed further.
