The director of Albanian Radio and Television, Alfred Peza, has carried out collective dismissals of state television employees. For these dismissals, the former RTSH employees have filed a complaint with SPAK. CNA secured the lawsuit signed by 20 employees against Peza.

The dismissed employees accuse Peza, the director of Human Resources, Anila Agalliu, and the head of the Legal Department, Enkelejd Lamaj, of breaching contracts and dismissals in violation of the law. 

According to them, the dismissals were carried out without any legal basis and in violation of the Labor Code. In the lawsuit, it is emphasized that other colleagues were forced to resign due to blackmail and pressure.

The former employees will inform the embassies, the European Union and the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, about the dismissals.

Also, the dismissed employees are expected to send another lawsuit to SPAK for abuses and corruption in cooperation. They accuse Peza of numerous financial abuses, money squandered on facades of failed shows at a staggering cost.

Meanwhile, CNA has learned that another report is being prepared against Alfred Peza and it is expected that there will be several public denunciations regarding the organization of the 62nd Festival in RTSH.

The High State Control has urgently gone to this institution to verify the denunciations made by the employees regarding the money used for the year-end festival and the large sums of money that go over 600 million ALL. 

So, the first report was made by some employees, meanwhile public denunciations are expected and the second report for corruption is expected not only for Mr. Peza but as a person in cooperation with others, including members of the Board of Administration. 

The surprise is the silence of Leka Bungo, the head of the RTSH Council, who has kept his mouth shut. The mediocre of the stage and art who spoke like a chief of guards yesterday, is silent today after Alfred Peza has shut his mouth. More is not yet known./ CNA
