Action to free beaches/ 85 umbrellas and sunbeds removed

The services of the Durrës Police Commissariat, within the framework of the "Free Beach" operation plan, have continued controls along the entire coastline, with the aim of freeing public spaces occupied without the relevant permit by various entities, through the placement of umbrellas and sun loungers.

During the checks, in public spaces on the beach of Cape Rodoni, a total of 85 sets of umbrellas and sun loungers, illegally placed by a citizen, were removed and seized.

Following the actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen NS, 59 years old, resident of Tirana.

Police services will continue checks along the entire coastline, with the aim of freeing up public spaces for vacationers and verifying the activities carried out by subjects during the summer season./ CNA
