Blitz action in the prisons of Fier, Vlora and Peqin/ What was seized

A blitz was carried out this Saturday in the prisons of Fier, Vlora and Peqin. According to the reaction of the Directorate of Prisons, the action was carried out in accordance with measures to strengthen security and discipline in prison institutions.

The checks were carried out by the operational forces of the Prison Police Directorate, to identify and seize prohibited items within the institutions.

It is reported that communication device accessories that constitute a criminal offense, improvised cutting tools, as well as other prohibited and excess items were found and seized.

Meanwhile, regarding the cases found, the Internal Control Service of the Prison System was notified for further procedural actions. It is announced that the controls will continue in all prisons in the country. /CNA
