The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has just shared the news that it has been informed that as a result of a serious road accident that occurred in the early hours of the morning of May 25, near the city of Koblenz, in which several Albanians were involved, three citizens have lost their lives. According to the Ministry, four others were injured and are receiving treatment in local hospitals.
The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Berlin and the Consulate General in Munich have been in constant contact with the German authorities and have closely followed developments. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident are still ongoing.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has expressed its most sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a full recovery to the injured.
The Ministry notes that consular structures have provided the necessary support to the affected citizens and have been engaged throughout the day to assist in managing the situation. /CNA
