The crackdown on the criminal group in Durrës/Ola Xama: Elvis

Journalist Ola Xama, invited to MCN TV, spoke about the properties of persons suspected of being involved in drug trafficking, in the group targeted by SPAK and the Italian anti-mafia during Operation "Ura". 

Xama discovered that the key person in the criminal activity, Elvis Doçi, currently wanted, has obtained a building permit for a hotel through his company Eldemar Construction. 

" Eldermar Construction, from 2018 to the end of 2023, generated a total of 15 million euros in revenue and 4 million euros in profit.

The company has been granted a building permit, which it received on April 2, 2024, to build a 10-story hotel. It has sold 60% of the quotas. Owner Elvis Doçi would secure the permit, provide the land, and acquire the international brands, Accor and Pullman, and secure the project from a foreign architectural studio. 

"So the money is invested in hotels, which is typical of criminal groups. They also have their own bar-restaurant because they sit and talk about criminal activity ," said Xama.
