Actor Elvis Pupa has broken his silence and reacted to allegations that he and his wife are accused of a drug house in Australia and that the actor has fled.

Through a reaction on social media, the actor writes that the news that has been circulating is false and malicious.

He explains that he has been in Tirana for more than a month and is dealing with his commitments.

The actor writes that any attempt to present this situation differently is a pure manipulation of information, a deliberate misinterpretation that aims to make news where there is nothing extraordinary.

"I am forced to react after some false and malicious news circulating in the media, according to which I allegedly "have escaped" and "am wanted". I want to make it very clear: for more than a month I have been in Tirana, where I am carrying out regular professional engagements, planned in Albania and beyond in Europe.

Any attempt to present this situation differently is pure manipulation of information, a deliberate misinterpretation aimed at making news where there is nothing extraordinary.

As for my wife, Belina, she continues her professional activity and is completely free. The entire situation that is currently being addressed is part of a legal process that is still ongoing, and as she herself has stated, it is up to justice to have the last word.

Unfortunately, we have seen a serious misuse of the news, for the purpose of sensationalism and clicks, where distortion has taken the place of truth. Our lives are public, but this does not give anyone the right to abuse people's dignity.

Life continues as normal, with our work and daily responsibilities. We will face every situation with calm, transparency and respect for the truth.
