SafeJournalists: The new regulation of the Supreme Prosecution Council violates media freedom

Bardhok Noka, who was previously sentenced to 7 years and six months in prison, after being accused of attempted murder, was declared innocent today by the Court of Appeal of Tirana.
The event for which Noka was accused dates back to April 28, 2020, when on the Mamurras-Ura e Drojë road axis, he fired a firearm at the car of the first citizen K.Sh, after a verbal conflict between them.
On May 10, 2021, the Kurbin Judicial District Court imposed a sentence of 7 and a half years in prison, a decision which was appealed by the Prosecutor's Office, which sought 14 years in prison.
Bardhok Noka appealed the decision to the Court of Appeal and claimed innocence./CNA.al
