Economic expert Dorjan Teliti, invited to the "Task Force" show with journalist Sonila Meço, said that the state acts as a quasi-criminal that turns a blind eye to trafficking, but arrests citizens for any violation.

Teliti stated that the dirty money thrown into the construction sector over the last 10-12 years is greater than the state budget that will be discussed tomorrow.

" The state is there to keep this mechanism up, almost criminal, which if you get in a car and you're not wearing a seat belt, 700 police officers will stop you immediately. You commit a small minimalist violation as a citizen, 200 tax collectors will come immediately. You try not to wait for a bar, cafe, restaurant, don't tear one off, don't wait for a tax coupon, 700 checks will come immediately. Meanwhile, millions, billions of euros pass through traffic at the port of Durres, no one sees them. That famous scanner that was made back then, does it work or not?

The state, there is a popular expression that says, fire, water and government, you have nothing to do with these. The moment you have made a partner of what would be your main opponent in the battle, in this battle to prevent dirty money from entering the market, which is the state, the moment you have turned it from an opponent into a partner, you have taken your most important ally by the hand. The state, I said it once again, looks at you for every minimalist violation you make. For a seat belt stop, it gives you a fine directly. And the towers that are being built? Didn't the mayor see it, I saw six floors in front of his office? Didn't he see them? Can't you see them?

Then, the dirty money thrown into the construction sector over the last 10-12 years is bigger than the state budget that will be discussed tomorrow. It is bigger. Two to three billion euros are thrown into the construction sector every year, which are outside the system and this has been happening for 12 years. And he says, okay, a budget of 9 billion euros that he will discuss tomorrow. Tomorrow he will discuss the 100 that he will give for economic aid, for pensioners, the mockery he makes of pensioners. He discusses the lack of funding for education, for health, for oncology drugs, while you do not see how these billions have come in and where they have come out. But in the meantime they are invested. I repeat once again, here investments are made, physical goods are invested. Construction is a physical good at the end of the day. It is not something that exists in the idea. It is something that is seen with the eyes. "How was it possible that there was no inspection, no control, no... They are saying, 'Sir, take this tower here, who bought it and who are the people who bought it? At what prices did they buy it ?'" said Teliti./ CNA
