Gender Equality Law/Pro-Family Coalition raises alarm: Child degenderization

The Pro-Family and Life Coalition has announced that even though the law on gender equality has not yet been entered into the Official Gazette, a campaign to degenderize children has begun in 9-year schools in Tirana. What is considered information on gender equality has been distributed in schools in the capital.


Children who cannot yet make any decisions will now need to be informed about "genders" and in the "Information Sheet", gender is defined as a social construct, categorically rejecting the binary gender, gender that is male and female.


Following this, the Pro-Family Coalition has called on teachers and parents to react to protect children and gender ideology.


"Although the law on "Gender Equality" has not entered into force, is not in the Official Gazette and has not yet been decreed by the Presidency, a campaign of degenderization of children has begun in 9-year schools in Tirana.
