Civil emergency and public service structures continue to be on the ground since last evening, monitoring the situation.

In collaboration with the drainage board, work is continuing to clean the Glina Stream, one of the most problematic spots during intense rainfall. Meanwhile, the power outage remains problematic.

"The situation is calm so far. Civil emergency and public service structures have been on the ground since last evening. In cooperation with the drainage board, we are making it possible to clean the Glina Stream, which is constantly problematic, so that we can have the situation under control. We hope that the weather will not worsen. The problem is with the electricity and we hope that it will be restored as soon as possible," said Elvis Preçi, Deputy Mayor of Vau Dejës Municipality.

Vau i Dejës remains in the focus of monitoring due to the danger posed by the Glina Stream, where just a few weeks ago it overflowed its banks, flooding around 100 homes./CNA
