"I am free, while he is in prison"/ Aulon Kalaja: Veliaj avoids

Former Democratic Party candidate for MP, Aulon Kalaja, stated today that for the third time, Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has not appeared in court for the lawsuit filed against him.

Through a post on social media, Kalaja emphasizes that once again, Veliaj has avoided confronting him for the third time.

Kalaja adds that he will not take a single step back, to prove once and for all who the slanderer is.

"Not even for the third time, Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj does not appear in court, in the lawsuit he filed against me!

He is still avoiding confronting me. The court gave him the opportunity to be interested and to come to the very case he has opened against me.

The judge in the case postponed the hearing to November 26, at 2:00 PM, deciding that Veliaj must come out of prison and appear before the court. Thus, he cannot evade the lawsuit he himself filed against me.

Meanwhile, I expect a confrontation and will not take a single step back. It will be decided once and for all who is the slanderer and why such cases are being opened against me in court. The "SLAP" lawsuit, which seeks to keep me hanging, will not last long with such maneuvers, because the problem he has, I cannot solve for him!

In short, these are called strategic lawsuits, which aim to intimidate, pressure, and scare the opponent, in this case me, as a journalist, activist, and politician.
