Exclusive/ Here are the DP candidates and the surprises in the Korça region

After many reactions and debates about various characters or candidates, who wanted the campaign to start immediately, and that the Democratic Party was too late, Lulzim Basha seems to have almost ready the lists of candidates for MPs.

Two days ago, CNA.al revealed the winning list of the Tirana region, where we revealed at least about 11 names, so many mandates were won in 2017, which were 100 percent accurate. Today we are making public the list according to our official sources at the DP regarding the Korça region.

Edmond Spaho is first on the DP list for this district. He will be followed by Ervin Salianji, who will again hold second place in the list. In recent days, the latter has started meetings in Korça with the structures. Spaho himself is on the ground.

Salianji was a deputy of this district, but currently, he is convicted by the court and awaits the decision of the Court of Appeals on the ?Babale? file, and in case there is no final decision, he can continue his race. But if the verdict is announced, ie in case he will be convicted, he will be removed from the list.

The third name seems a bit of a surprise. Suzana Goxholli, a former adviser to former Prime Minister Berisha, economist, a candidate from the 2009 elections to run but, who couldn?t be part of the lists of candidates for MP. She already seems to have secured third place in the Korça region, being the representative of the municipality of Pogradec.

Further, the list is continued by Vangjel Dule. CNA.al has reported several times that in Korça, Vangjel Dule will run as an ally of the Democrats in the logo of PBDNJ. Dule has already left the district of Vlora, after clashes with Fredi Bejleri of Himara, one of the leaders of PBDNJ and OMONIA.

Further, in fifth place, one more seat than the mandate received by the DP in 2017, will be again Andrea Mano, former chairman of the DP branch, and who has resigned from the leadership of the local DP to run for MP. Again Mano will not be in a secured place, and probably not a winner.

He has been running for 16 years and dreams as if he has become an MP or mayor, but never could win. He remains the most spectacular serial loser, 16 years just loss. This is also due to the fact that the SMI will run with its list and will try to get 1-2 seats of deputies, because in 2017 it received over 19.000 votes, and in 2013, almost 15 thousand votes. So in any case the SMI secures a mandate, and Andrea Mano will lose again.

Further, the list can be followed by other names, with representatives from the municipality of Kolonja, but also duplication. So to use other names, political figures of this city but not in the winning places. So those who can be called as supplements to the list, persons who will claim to be candidates for mayor tomorrow, prefects, or regional leaders in case the opposition comes to power./ CNA.al
