Photos-The scandal of political parties/ Here is how they are spreading Covid-19

For almost a year, the country has been facing the pandemic of the new coronavirus, which has brought the whole world to its knees. As in every country, in Albania have been imposed anti-Covid measures, which must be implemented by every person, to prevent further spread of the virus.

For some time now, the Technical Committee of Health Experts has decided not to allow gatherings of more than 10 people. It is also mandatory to wear a protective mask, both indoors and outdoors. However, the political parties, the people who represent them, ignore the anti-Covid measures.

For some time, the political parties in the country have been running the engines of the election campaign, and have forgotten that Covid-19 still exists. Despite pandemic restrictions, parties, large and small, have launched campaigns and meetings are intensifying as the April 25 election date approaches.

Politicians, whether left or right, are holding meetings and meetings without even realizing that they are turning into hotbeds of infection. Anti-Covid rules and fines seem to be only for citizens, and not for officials who violate them with both feet.

On the social networking sites of parties and politicians from both camps, we see photos during meetings held where no anti-Covid measures are implemented. We recall here the case of the meeting of the headquarters of the Democratic Party in Durrës or Elbasan, where not only missed the minimum distance between those present, but no one even wears a mask.

Total disregard for the rules is also noticed in the meetings of the chairwoman of the SMI, Monika Kryemadhi, who starts almost every day with meetings with different groups.

The same is observed in the meetings of the structures of the Socialist Party, where there are meetings indoors with more than 10 people. We see these images every day, at a time when hundreds of citizens are fined every day for not wearing a mask, or breaking other anti-Covid rules. Political parties have become hotbeds of infection and dangerous spreaders of the virus./ CNA.al
