Fred Mara and Krenar Gjokutaj, incompetent or corrupt?!

There are two senior leaders of the State Police, one director of the Korça District, and the other the chief of the police station in this city. Two characters, who have the legal duty to direct and manage order and security, one in the city of Korça and the villages, ie the municipality, and the other in the whole region.

In fact these two characters are either incompetent or corrupt, and we will show this, with the arguments we will bring below. First, during the last week of December, in Korça all business premises have attempted to carry out their activities during the pandemic.

Many of them have been closed, so they have respected the schedules, while others have continued the activity. The police found violations in only 2 or 4 of them, and here the story is closed. What has been revealed has been published in the media or publicly denounced by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Then the police went and closed them, and imposed the relevant fine, but also this in a differentiated form.

Ferdinand Mara has been denounced before on CNA.al. This time we are denouncing the behavior of Krenar Gjokutaj, the man who a while ago fined some young people from Korça with 50 million Lek, because they held rallies in the time of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, on Friday and Saturday evening, dozens of bars in the city of Korça, including ?Pub Republika?, known as the bar owned by Ben Blushi?s daughter, held activities until after midnight. The same thing happened before the New Year, even on Christmas night,

and this has been denounced with facts and video.

This has happened not only in these premises, but also in many others. But we take the example of ?Pub Republika?, because for the latter have been published videos, photos and exclusive indisputable facts, for which the police said that they had once imposed a fine.

But the fine was also differentiated, as young people were fined 50 million Lek for a protest, while a business where 200 people had gathered, only 10 million Lek. This has not yet been proven, it was only said in a press release.

And although CNA.al has consistently requested that the state police make public the fine, this hasn?t happened. Not to mention other fines, that she had to impose even for the most serious events, that have occurred in those premises, where the police have avoided justifying that the reports given were not true.

Two days ago, the Brryli Broadway portal published a photo, also published by former Prime Minister Berisha. But the citizens who go from Tirana to Korça for the weekend, can report to you with dozens of bars, premises, businesses that stay open, and that say that their owners have solved this matter with the police.

In Korça there are two people who lead! The Chief of the Commissariat, Krenar Gjokutaj who imposes fines of 50 million Lek for young protesters, who have their civil and civil right to react, and with 10 million Lek the others, in fact allegedly, as it has not yet been published.

The police fined any business, only after the denunciations made public, and not that they didn?t know that he was violating the anti-Covid rules.

The businesses in question are located in the middle of Korça, and don?t respect any schedule, violate the law, and do so in agreement with the police. As we pointed out above, many people say they have solved it with the police.

Fees are different, according to the premises, the hours that will be worked, and you learn this from the ordinary police officers in Korça. This is the case that clearly confirms, that the two police chiefs are either corrupt or incompetent.

Therefore, they should leave their duties and be replaced by persons who take legal responsibility, and who aren?t afraid to close the premises of ?VIPs?, and impose fines

on them to respect the law, as before it are all equal.

But, this cannot happen, neither with Krenar nor Ferdinand, as they frequent these premises themselves, staying in them until late after midnight. CNA.al will continue to follow this phenomenon in the city of Korça, to clarify once and for all what happens to the two senior police leaders who are not enforcing the law.
