Mr. Prime Minister, who paid the expenses of Endri Fuga’s wife in Dubai?

Yesterday, on social media started circulating a video and photos of Rama government ministers, in one of the most luxurious restaurants in the world. Then the government and the media close to it, justified that dinner with an official agenda.

But let’s take the facts one by one.

First it is quite normal for ministers to have dinner somewhere. They will be fed, even in such countries, and the expenses may also be paid by the businessmen or by the governments of the host country. There is nothing wrong with the cost of dinner being paid by businessmen, as long as they don?t have conflicts of interest.

But beyond government propaganda, we ask what job did Endri Fuga?s wife have at an official desk? What did she represent? Which ministry, or institution? On the other hand, arise another question.

In its statement, the government says that the published images show the members of the official Albanian delegation that visited Dubai for the investments signed in November 2020, related to the port of Durrës, and the reconstruction of 2.000 new apartments after the 2019 earthquake.

If it is for these projects, they have done very well that have gone there. But why did Arbian Mazniku go to Dubai? What role does he play there? He is the Deputy Mayor of Tirana. What connects Mazniku with the Municipality of Durrës, or with the reconstructions that will be carried out in this city.

The Minister of Reconstruction Arben Ahmetaj or the Minister of Infrastructure Belinda Balluku were enough for the projects. But also the businessman Samir Mane or other government persons, including the media that they have taken with them, the national televisions.

But why did Endri Fuga, the head of government propaganda, went in Dubai with his wife, including Arbian Mazniku. Which official delegation are they part of these there, and who pays their expenses? A friend may actually invite you to sign some investment contracts, and the government sends a delegation.

But its not normal to go there with dozens of people, introducing in the delegation friends and acquaintances of the ministers. Therefore, before making propaganda about the bills, Edi Rama must show us her dinner mandate-payments, and who paid the expenses of Endri Fuga, his wife and Arbian Mazniku.

As these three have no position to be part of a delegation, that goes to Dubai for the reconstruction of housing in Durrës.
