Edi Rama goes to the elections on April 25 with a political government

29 Dhjetor 2020, 14:16, English CNA

The prime Minister Edi Rama announced today the last two changes in the government, ie the filling of the Foreign Ministry officially with a minister, as Gent Cakaj exercised his duty not decreed by President Ilir Meta, as well as the second surprise:the return of Niko Peleshi to government.

In fact, on the eve of the parliamentary elections, Rama?s government looks more political than ever. Perhaps since 2013, the Prime Minister didn?t have his government with so much political representation, if we consider the delegates of the regions, who will be the main pillar of the election campaign that has already begun.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has appointed his deputy, Erion Braçe, as one of the main leaders of the Fier region together with Gramoz Ruçi, the head of the parliament. Currently, Olta Xhaçka, the former Minister of Defense, has taken over the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs, which will cover the Dibra region.
A new name in the Ministry of Defense is Niko Peleshi, who heads the Korça region. But with him is the Minister of State for Defense and Entrepreneurship, Eduart Shalsi. Blendi Çuçi was appointed Minister of Interior a few days ago, he leads the Gjirokastra region.

Without forgetting here the movement of Evis Kushi a few weeks ago, a strong political figure who together with Taulant Balla, the leader of the Parliamentary group of SP, will lead the region of Elbasan.

A group of ministers likes Elisa Spiropali, Belinda Balluku, Etilda Gjonaj will run in Tirana. Arben Ahmetaj seems to be the man who will cover Kavaja, so he will be in Tirana together with Ogerta Manastirliu who covers unit number 9.

On the other hand, if we continue to look further at the government cabinet, Blendi Klosi leads the district of Berat. If we look at two or three other points left somewhat more discovered, it is probably Shkodra with Ilir Beqaj who was a minister.

In Vlora, the Prime Minister has appointed Damian Gjiknuri, former Minister and current Minister of Economy and Finance, Anila Denaj, as campaign manager. Kukësi still seems undiscovered, but in this region the SP can not get less than 1 mandate due to the area itself. So, all the names included in the government cabinet during the recent moves, aim at a political configuration of the government, and a greater weight for the leaders, who will be
in charge of the campaign in the regions.

The entire government cabinet, which includes 16 people along with the prime minister, clearly seems to be political and the people involved in the government, are the main pillars of the campaign. The whole government seems to be a strong political structure divided into circles to ?fight? as a team to secure a third term for Edi Rama./CNA.al
