A few lines on Top Channel’s 19th anniversary

Top Channel Television had yesterday its anniversary, the day when it first aired and produced the logo that would soon become the most watched and most important national television in the country. But just as it rose quickly, so fast it seems to be falling.

But what did we see yesterday? Top Channel offered us a disgusting show where on the noon show anyone can come out and say whatever they want, down to the clones that come from the US and are sold to Albanians from the Top Channel screen.

What has it shown us in this 19th anniversary? He has shown us how private businesses can be attacked by allegedly investigative shows for dubious interests. He has shown us in this 19th anniversary, how the biggest screen of Albanians can be turned into a government loudspeaker and a corrupt concession of 480 million euros such as incinerators. What did Top Channel tell us this 19th anniversary?

He showed us how shows without any weight and educational message, or culture and value, have received the largest audience on this television. This is shown by his polls and not by us. Investigative shows have degraded to miserable levels. Until yesterday, they openly denounced scandals, politicians, government officials and corrupt laws, while today they deal with private business conflicts with each other and seek to destroy investments of tens of millions of euros.

It is a television that has no longer the former splendor, where mostly of those who founded are gone. There remains very few of the first who established it, and very few of the true mission for which Top Channel was founded and developed.
