Lulzim Basha, the man of gaffes/Here are his major blunders in 2020

3 Janar 2021, 13:42, English CNA

Opposition leader Lulzim Basha is already well-known for his many blunders, and for the poor level in mathematics, although he claims that in school he had a grade of 10. Basha is remembered for a series of mistakes. In early March of last year, Basha insisted on declaring a natural disaster. But he forgot that Prime Minister Edi Rama had declared a natural disaster, and the country was in a state of emergency until March 31 due to the earthquake, which was followed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Basha made the next mistake in April of this year, when he said in a show that ?the second decade is coming to an end, since I asked Edi Rama to have a debate?. In fact the truth is that it was not yet filled first. Because from 2011, the year 2021 must come to fill a decade.

While apparently Luli calculates the decades with 5 year. In fact, it takes another 10 years for 2 decades. The opposition leader made another mistake in Korça, where he introduced an entrepreneur and called his business a mini-supermarket. But someone has to tell the president of the New Republic, that there is no mini-supermarket store, only a mini market or a supermarket. In another statement to the media, Luli said in October that ?6 out of 4 businesses are not profitable?.

Only ?mathematical geniuses? like Luli can understand this statement. In June, Basha went to the farm of Hysen Gishti from the village of Otllak in Berat. But during the conversation, he made another blunder. The farmer told him that out of 50 workers he had before the pandemic, he had only 10 left, while the leader of the opposition said that 2 people had fled, while in fact 40 had fled.

Basha?s mistakes in mathematics go further. During the activity held on December 8 in the framework of Youth Day, Basha stated that Albania lost 8 years during these 4 years. Another statement that caused a stir, was the one made for the holidays of November 28-29, when Basha confused the Flag Day, November 28, 1912, with the raising of the flag in Kruja by Scanderbeg on November 28, 1444.

The leader of the Democratic Party, made the next mistake during a meeting with students in the ?Student City?. During his speech, Basha said in front of the students that ?for students with incomes over 640 million Lek, the fee will be halved?.

Apparently Basha has confused the students with big business, and maybe this figure reminds him of the minimum amount of money that the brother-in-law earns from every affair. Still, without forgetting the mistake he made in the meeting with the students, Basha made another gaffe during the meeting with the professors.

Speaking about investments in education, the opposition leader stated that June 25 is the date of the beginning of healing of all wounds in this sector, forgetting that in fact the parliamentary elections are on April 25 and not on June 25. These are just some of Basha?s mistakes, which are numerous, even though the opposition leader claims that they happen to him very rarely, and that he has been an excellent student in mathematics./CNA.al
