Trajneri i njohur del i lirë, pritet të marrë drejtimin e Italisë

Roberto Mancini konsiderohet kandidati kryesor për t’u rikthyer në stolin e Italisë pas zgjedhjeve presidenciale të Federatës Italiane të Futbollit më 22 qershor 2026.

Së fundmi, tekniku italian ka zyrtarizuar largimin nga Al Sadd dhe ka dalë i lirë në treg, duke bërë që të  shtohen zërat për një rikthim në stolin e axurrëve.

Trajneri 61-vjeçar drejtoi kombëtaren italiane nga viti 2018 deri në vitin 2023, duke fituar Euro 2020. Gjatë periudhës së tij në krye të Italisë, ai vendosi rekordin e futbollit ndërkombëtar me 37 ndeshje radhazi pa humbje. Në këtë seri, Italia shënoi 93 gola dhe pësoi vetëm 12.

Megjithatë, largimi i tij në gusht të vitit 2023 shkaktoi polemika, pasi pak javë më vonë mori drejtimin e kombëtares së Arabisë Saudite. Vetë Mancini ka pranuar më pas se largimi nga Italia ishte një gabim.
