Done/Real snatches the target from Barcelona and Atletico

Bernardo Silva looks set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer. The Portuguese midfielder has reportedly completed a medical ahead of a deal with the Spanish club.

Real Madrid have previously secured the signings of Denzel Dumfries and Ibrahima Konate, and are now working to secure the 31-year-old. It is understood that the parties have reached a full agreement on a two-year contract with an option to extend for another season.

Bernardo Silva has accepted a significant pay cut to secure his move to Madrid. Coach Jose Mourinho played a key role in the deal, as he sees the Portuguese as a key part of his project.

There was also interest from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for the player. However, everything indicates that Bernardo Silva's next destination will be the "Santiago Bernabeu".
