Ronaldo lands in the US, Portugal on historic mission

Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portugal national team have arrived in the US for the 2026 World Cup.

For the 41-year-old striker, this tournament represents the opportunity to become one of the rare players in football history to play in six World Cups.

Ronaldo comes off a season where he recorded 30 goals and assists with his club, confirming his good form ahead of his debut.

Portugal is part of Group K and will play its matches according to this schedule:

June 17: Portugal – DR Congo (in Houston)

June 22: Portugal – Uzbekistan

June 26: Portugal – Colombia (in Miami)

The Portuguese team, which is considered a combination of experienced players and the new generation, aims to go towards the first world trophy in its history, in what is expected to be the final tournament of Ronaldo's international career.
